Unknown. There are probably many unofficial translations throughout history. For ever language there should be a translation, probably several. Even in ancient Greek bibles come in multiple versions.

Let us speak of English though. This site gives a breakdown of the MAJOR English approved modern versions that you can currently buy.

oh and the NAB: It is not the best. It is good, but there are problems with it (the NAB used in the American Mass is a modified version because the Vatican found it to be lacking).

You have two principal Catholic Versions; The Vulgate and the New American Bible. The Vulgate version(very old latin translation) was organally Latin but was translated into English with severval versions known as the Douay Rheims and the Confraternity Bible. Now there is the New American Bible translated from the original tongues in 1970 and is the offical bible(i.e. the one they read at mass). So there are several translations but one, The New American Bible that is perhaps the best English Translation of any English bible.
