Anyone else think that they are a amazing sounding instrument?
Amazing Grace on them is a awesome song, even if your not religious..

Bagpipes are a very unique instrument. Many songs are done very beautifully on them. However, just because something is done on them does not make it beautiful. You must have a person who can play them well. Poorly played bagpipes are horrible.

Yes, bagpipes are great. By the way you should check out the recording that The Dropkick Murphys did of Amazing Grace, it's the best ever.

I love them. I'm fortunate enough to live in a bagpipe-loving city (Pittsburgh). We have a piper who practices daily in a nearby park, and several who practice near my office. It's pretty cool. I'd love to learn how to play.

yeah i agree. they're sound is so unique and amazing. they make a lot of beautiful songs sound so even more.
