When kids get out of high school, they're very idealistic, and they often times want to take the courses that interest them, or the ones that they think are cool. The smart ones take the courses that'll help them find a job when they get out.

PS - Never major in psychology unless you want to go all the way for a PhD or an MD (in which case, you'd be better off being a 'regular' doctor).

Pre-requsities. Requirements (like PE when your under 21). Sometimes instructor. How full my shedule is and do I really want an EASY class or a HARD one. Educational requirements for graduation. Sometimes I take a class for a lark. Self improvement.
