Mmmm... first of all r u sure u have typed ur correct id & password? Secondly have u told someone about ur id and password? The problem may be due to ur password, may be you mistyped it or may be u have accidently changed them while viewing ur net account.
Now u say that u changed ur password, u must have changed ur id also. In that case u will recieve a new account and a new domain, so ur previous mail(of ur old account) will not be there.
However if problem persist contact yahoo! Also in future check for viruses or spywares in you mails, that could also be the cause for the trouble.

Some problems which in my mind are:
1. Your password has been hacked and the hacker has picked up all your stuff.
2. Sometimes there is a problem with yahoo and we cannot log on to it. But after sometime it starts working again. When you relogin after sometime the problem might have been solved.
3. You might be uploading your email account using outlook express. This softward uploads your mails from your mail box and delete them from net.
So check it out, I hope your problem will be solved.
Bye

This is a serious problem. Either your password has been hacked into or you were probably working on some public Network COmputer where you probably did not log out of Yahoo Email and someone misued your account . Contact Yahoo Help and ask them to check what has happened.

Sorry, brother. Sounds like you have been hacked.
Too late now for this, but in the future, be sure to keep hard copy of anything important. Maybe Yahoo can help you retrieve or even catch the, uh, nasty person, who did this to you. Good luck.
Gotta go change my password.

Had you ever told someone your old password?
Had you connected Outlook, Outlook Express or another E-mail client to your Yahoo mail account? They will read and possibly delete all you mail in the Yahoo account.

I have heard of this ONLY once a couple of years ago and that was because someone hacked into your account.. they knew your password, etc and change the password and kept your account.. that is why I never let anyone see my password

Go here and do a feedback to Yahoo Mail. Tell them what happened.

Why don't you contact Yahoo itself. Sounds like they are protecting your stuff since you had to redo the password, but not sure yahoo has such in place.
