Good Charlotte, Fall Out Boy, Blink 182, and Panic! at the Disco are not punk bands. They are poseur bands. The Ramones, Sex Pistols, and The Clash are punk bands.

i totally agree...70's Punk is the REAL Punk, WOW! What an era!! The new so called punks today all play the line from a Ramones song " Second verse same as the first!"

rancid, dropkick murphys, the clash, the sex pistols, the ramones, bad religion, the distillers, x-ray specs, lars fredriksen and the bastards, the buzzcocks, the dead kennedys, etc.

I like it alright i guess. Fave's include the Clash, X, X-ray Spex, the Slits, Subhumans, Dead Kennedys, Bad Brains, Black Flag and Rancid.
