When I start driving after my car has been sitting for a while, the transmission "sticks" in first gear. After a few minutes of driving, it "kicks" in and shifts normally again. Once the car is warmed up, it shifts perfectly. There is nothing else wrong with the shifting once it's warmed up. What could be the problem and what should I do...?

Try changing the transmission fluid if it hasn't been changed in a while. If that is not the problem, try looking for a vacuum leak. A lot of transmissions have a vacuum to it and it may have a vacuum leak.

i think of you copied down the project incorrectly. i think you meant to have + interior the denominator as a replace of -. if so, the project turns into: a million - (sin? tan? )/(a million+sec? ) ? cos? Multiply the two numerator and denominator of the 2nd term with the help of cos? = a million - (sin? tan? cos?)/(cos? + sec? cos?) Now because tan? = sin?/cos? and sec? cos? = a million, we've = a million - (sin^2 ?)/(cos? + a million) be conscious that sin^2 ? = a million - cos^2 ? = a million - (a million - cos^2 ?)/(cos? + a million) ingredient the numerator, remembering that a million-a^2 = (a million-a)(a million+a) = a million - (a million - cos?)(a million + cos?)/(cos? + a million) Cancel out the hassle-free term = a million - (a million - cos?) = cos? To be precise, there are some values the place the left ingredient is undefined (while tan?=0 and while cos?=-a million), so the assertion of precise equivalence isn't completely authentic, yet different than those values, that's in general authentic.

Try a transmission flush, flush it once, run it and flush it again. Thats so you can get all of the "gunk" out that might be making it stick.
