You must be patient, the nearest place with snow from South Florida are the Apalaches in North Carolina. So I recommend you to take a plane to Raleigh and then rent a car or take a bus to get to the mountains. The best time to go is on the middle of December, so make a reservation now because these is the low-season for airlines and try to take a nocturne fligth if you are looking for cheap options.

Carolina's is your best bet. Georgia gets snow, but not really a lot. If you really want a white Christmas go to New England.

Buffalo, NY or Vermont (almost all year long). Northwestern Canada or Alaska is another good choice.
Look at the area, if they are deciduous or tundra area, they will have a lot of natural grow pine or tall hardwoods. Those are the area you should look for.
Also, in those areas, they usually have a lot of wild deers, moose, and migrating bird and butterflies.

Northern GA mabye but you would be safe in Tenn. depending on the weather sometimes you have to go as far north as Michigan. It just depends on how cold it is and the precipitation.
