Lately I've been real bored with everything. Going out with friends, video games, television, school...you name it. All I do now is watch movies from the library.

Sounds like a mild case of depression (for now anyway). Something has happened either mental, emotional, physically that has somehow disappointed you. Sometimes it is just a malaise you experience because you no longer have a goal or an interesting challenge in your life.

Another cause could be you are required to do something you really have no interest in doing and your procrastination is making it worse.

Spend some time outside, do yard work, or walk to your local park. Take up jogging. Develop a hobby. Read thrillers, mysteries, etc.

The whole trick is to become active, get that serotonin flowing through your veins. Exercise, get those endorphins pumping. It takes physical activity a lot of times to get us out of those slumps we get into sometimes.

Hope this helps, good luck.

You could just need a change. You may have changed or matured and your friends haven't.

Be careful though, losing interest in things you used to enjoy is a sign of depression. This is only one of many signs, but if you do start having trouble sleeping and losing interest in even more things, look into talking to a doctor about it.

What do you think about having to stay for three months in a town 50 km away from all your friends and babysit two 8-year-old kids who would do anything to annoy you? Would that be more interesting?
Smile! Things could be worse!

No, it's not you're getting older. Everybody has it at some point in their life, or once in a while where we don't find anything interesting enough to do. The feeling will go away soon...
