Is it it just me or does myspace lessen the quality of pics?!?

I try jpg and it's horrible
I try png and it lightens the darn pic!
wow. when I see everyone elses pictures post of them look NICE and of good quality.

are you editing the picture with a different program before you upload them on myspace? if you are, maybe it's the program. usually if i crop a picture or change the coloring or something like that it makes the quality worse.. otherwise it may just be your pictures or something.. it doesn't seem to make my pictures worse.
