The SOLAR system was just downsized. How about that crap? I guess we just didn't have it in our budget for 9 planets so the low producer had to go.

Pluto is still there. They just changed the definition of what a planet is and it did not fit the new definition. So it isn't allowed to play the reindeer games with Santa's other 8 planets, but it can sit on the sideline with 2 other subplanets as cheerleaders.

yes it got the boot! Pluto grabbed its celestrial sized bindle and took a hike. Its smaller than a planet but bigger than a moon, and was no longer wanted in this solor system, so it was forced to leave.

No Pluto is still in orbit, and still here. It's just that it was reclassified not as a planet but as a Pluton.

A Pluton is a new classification of celestial bodies smaller then planets.

I heard on the news that they renewed the requirements for a planet and Pluto failed to meet them. They've got a lot of history to rewrite now!

it's still included in the solar system, but no longer considered as a major planet, it's redefined as a "dwarf planet", leaving just eight "major planets" in the solar system.
