the easiest and quickest way is to use Acetone, or fingernail polish remover, then apply any leather care product to restore the oil.

Old fashioned-hair spray gets pen ink off of clothes, possibly leather as well. Do you have an area of the sofa to test on, like underneath? (Hardly convienient, I know, but you don't want to ruin the sofa.) If you find an area that won't show, make a similar pen mark and test by spraying the hair spray (or for your sake, anything else anyone recommends to you) onto a white cloth (washcloth, diaper, etc) then *immediatly* dab on the test-pen-mark. What I mean is, try to avoid spraying ANYTHING directly on the sofa, just because there is some lack of control over the spray and you don't want to ruin a large area, even in the test area. Wiping is more precise. Good luck!

Flip the cushion or try candle lamp oil. Try it out on a hidden spot to make sure it doesn't stain. It will loosen the leather for a couple of days but after it dissipates the leather will tighten back up. Follow with a leather conditioner.
