There are some sheepskin cleaners on the market but many people just use baby shampoo to clean the sheepskin and let it air dry.

Soak it in the washing machine in luke-warm water with wool-wash for 40 minutes. Put on the delicate cycle and wash for a maximum of 2 minutes. Gentle spin, rinse in luke-warm water and gentle spin again. Allow to dry slowly so the skin doesn't shrink. Brush gently. I just did it today and it has come out perfect.

I bought my Dad a sheep skin. I was told to wash it with Baby Shampoo,gently and lay it out to dry.

I have washed one with warm water and woolite in the washer and dryer on low setting and also the washer on gentle wash too..

in morocco they wash it with sea salt and another product called (tighecht) pronouced tee-rré-ch-t it's a natural soap, perhaps u can used some kind of soap free soap. rince well, comb with a brush as u're rincing it. then hand to dry

WARM WATER SETTING AND WOOLITE....BE THERE TO ADD SOFTENER YOU CAN HANG IT TO DRY OR PUT IT IN THE DRYER ON WARM.....BRUSH WITH A HAIR BRUSH WHEN THE SKIN IS TOTALLY DRY......CANT DO IT ALOT BECAUSE THE SKIN DRIES OUT....

scrape it then hang it out side the flys will eat it clean piss on it to tan the skin
