I don't believe that all men are looked upon as heroes. Nor do I think that all successful women are looked upon as ugly or worse.
I am sorry that you were hurt (illustrated by your Yahoo ID name), but as you get older you will realize that there are all kinds of people in this world and you just can't let them get to you. Go forward, be successful and prove them wrong.

I suppose its true, I've never really noticed! But its a bit harsh, i don't hold any man to be a hero just for suffering or any women for that matter. And many evil men arn't look to as heros eg Hitler, Osa bin Ladin, Saddam Hussien, Dr Evil...

Perhaps it is people like you that are causing it to be so hard for women to be heros.
Your hatred and stupidity are the reasons why Men look down on Women. Also, it makes women hate each other and be "catty" to one another.
