everytime I hear Christmas music it makes me feel so great inside. It reminds me of the Christmas spirit so much. Another thing, how come we feel so great on Christmas????? What do you think makes us feel so great on Christmas?

The music gives me a warm fuzzy feeling...like when i was a kid,...it makes you feel so happy like when you had your first crush!...lol.

Yeah I do I like to start listening to a Christmas song here and there about this time of year and don't stop listening to it until around Easter time. There is something majestic about the holiday because it usually brings out the best in people. Though Christmas can be quite stressful if you let it be, it is also a good time to recollect on the year wrapping up and envision where you are headed.
I have many favorite Christmas songs including the whole soundtracks to both Home Alone and Home Alone 2 as a kid growing up in the early 90's I was quite drawn to these and watched them mucho times.
Also recently my favorite Christmas song is So This Is Christmas performed by the one and only John Lennon
Also Celine Dion has a very good version surprisingly of this one too.
The last thing perhaps that I would like to share is that I believe that Christmas time brings together everyone in society to one common theme and that is quite special. One day apart from road rage and flippin the bird. Deep down we all have atleast a little holiday cheer even though they cram it down our throats especially at the stores and on TV. I like to avoid these things around the holidays LOL
Okay one more thing to say which has always stuck in my head. One day around Christmas time I heard a story about the author of the song I'll Be Home For Christmas aka "the guy that wrote the song" aparently he was a soldier away from home, a businessman, travel guide, pilot, or any other profession that might work or be gone on Christmas.
He was a prisoner: "...if only in a dream...." get it that makes me a little sad everytime because I usually don't feel bad for prisoners but to think of Christmas Day in a cell all by yourself anyway, that was fun sharin'!

I'm not sure what makes people feel great. But I know some people they don't feel great. My older sister was born on the 16 and died on the 21st or 22nd so my parents didn't like christmas, well theyd just get moody and upset for awhile on Christmas. I think the fact that they used to get down around Christmas made me try to embrace the Christmas Spirit even more and make them feel happy like I was. Thats my opinion. :-)
OH! And I listen to Christmas Music year round. My boyfriends dad even made me a christmas CD because he knew how much I loved Christmas music. ^_^

yes it takes me back way back when my grandmother and i baked Christmas cookies she taught me so many things and now I'm teaching my children those life lessons.she died a month ago but her lively spirit will aways be in my heart.
