is there some kind of documintation that i could get to prove this or should the lab that tested it have some way to prove that it was the stimulant thanks for all the answers also it was for over the counter i dont have a persciption for it so what to do then

The answer to this depends on your state. Most employment drug tests require that two samples are taken, so a second test can be run from the same sample. You can request this. You also have a right to your records.
In many states, you also have the right to have another test done at an approved lab, at your expense. Check with your state's dept. of labor for details on your rights.
It would be unusual for something over the counter to show up as an amphetamine...what was it?

How can you have an over the counter amphetamine?
What do you take? I know that Adderall and Ritalin may come back (+) for amphetaminesin the urine but those are prescription drugs not over the counter.

Did you tell them you had taken it before the pi $$ test? If so it should be written down on the form they fill out on you. You should have a copy. They should have ask if you have taken anything.

never heard of that,,,, BUT,,, if so,,, show them what you took.
but surely, you must mean prescription, that you did not have a prescription for....... and if thats the case..... yer screwed.
