Impossible to answer without knowing the exact weight of the package which is what postage is based on. If you figure out the weight, you can go to www.usps.com and enter the weight and it will tell you how much postage to use.

I'd suggest taking it to the post office to get the correct rate. All packages over a pound have to be taken to the post office anyway, for security reasons. If it's less than a pound, you can use the calculator at http://www.usps.com, and choose "media mail." But if you put other stuff in besides the book (or tapes), you're not allowed to use media mail, so select some other rate. All in all, the easiest thing is to take it to the post office.
