AXE body sprays (and TAG) are like Fisher Price "my first cologne", for teenage boys who I guess marketers believe are too unsophisticated (or cheap) to go to a perfume counter and buy a real fragrance. No self-respecting adult would be caught dead wearing it, and no woman outside of some cheap hooker motel would be caught dead with a guy wearing it. High school is different, mind you, with the weirdest little tardtots you'll ever see, and the most bizzare rituals and beliefs--it doesn't surprise me that it's all the rage. However, I think we all know what the crap is for--it's like febreze, except for people. It's for people who don't shower or bathe. Just spray the body down with a heavy chemical scent and you're good to go! WOOHOOO! Ick.

WHATTTT!!! I love the smell of axe! It's an instant turn on! Haha. I think it's true what the advertisements say! But I guess not everyone can have the same opinion. Or well, maybe it's a bad smelling axe that you are thinking of? Not all of them are great.

if they put on too much women are definitely going to be running in the other direction. That's stuff for real cause I'm attracted to guys wearing AXE, It smells alright if they put just a little on.

The same reason women get into elevators wearing enough perfume to kill someone. People should learn to tone it down. Not everyone has a deficient sniffer. Deodorant and a little light lotion is plenty.

I agree it is disgusting and it does send you running. One squirt and it can take your breath away. I have a son who wears it and when he left home at 18 he broke into the house while I was not home and I knew he was there because he left the smell behind. Wasn't hard for the police to pin point him needless to say he does not wear it anymore.

It's all about the commercials. We are trained that if we wear it, we instantly get lots of hot women, not even just women according to the commercial, but HOT women..

I agree, I can't stand the stuff. I think it is way too strong, and not in a good way either.
I guess they are ready to buy into anything to get the girl, and I'm sure that there are some girls that actually like the stuff.

They wear it because it has been advertised as a (Girl attraction) smell.
It leterally stinks to high heaven.

Omfg!! I LOVE AXE if a guy wears it i will follow him all day and grab him by the shirt and smell him for days. How could you not like it?
