I used to be like that. If you want the guy to like you then be yourself (basically don't act like a psycho around him, just try to stay normal and calm). Before you sit by him in class, start by having some casual conversations with him, maybe about what his interests are. Eventually, he will probably feel somewhat comfortable around you and then just ask him if you can sit by him. Its not that hard. The guy will probably either accept you as a friend or think that you are a stalker. ;p
Oh! A little bit of warning when telling a guy that you like them, sometimes (well lots of times when you are young) they might get freaked out and avoid you. It's always better to be friends for a while and then after they might have matured a little, you could tell them. Wow. I'm making this seem like a long process. ^_^

Hi.. I'm in the same condition with you, and I'm almost that my crush. How that can happen??? First you must be his good friend or someone that he will always tell things first, second always give him a good attention, never hurt him, sometimes you can angry too him; that to prove how he thinks about you. If he show that he confuses if you are angry to him or just don't care to him; that show that he is interested to you ( that work on me) And the most important thing : DON'T MISS A GOOD COMMUNICATION...

what ever you do, don't write him a letter about it, cause if he don't feel the same way, than he'll show everyone....... just go and sit by him, what can he say, you need to take a chance, and start talking to him, get to know him better before you say you like him, find out if he likes anyone in the class or something, i used to ask them if they thought any of the girls in the class was cute or whatever, and sometimes they might tell you who, and if they don't tell you who, then you still have so hope, your taking a chance of your feelings getting hurt, but it's better to find out now, than later, when it hurts the most..........

just get the nerves and go up to him and say "hey do u want to hang out at lunch today" if he says yes then at lunch just act like u r used to ntalking to boys the next day ask him if he duz again and then after a couple of day eating with him ask him out because u will be a little used to it hope i helped o by the im 12 too
