Only if the child's mind is filled with tuna fish?
What kind of a question is this?????

A kitten can't read anyone's mind, man, child, plant, or animal.

Now, maybe a small child could communicate with dolphins if the child is thrown over the side of the boat and he waives at the dolphin as he sinks to the bottom of the sea.

Yes. A kitten and a small child are in sync with each other so the connection will be almost telepathic !
