dinst is an executable file that comes bundled to install adware or a virus.

Do a search for dinst.exe. If you find it, delete it. If you don't know how to delete it, just right-click on it once you find it, and select Delete. Then empty your recycle bin.

Get a-squared free, which is much more powerful than Adware and Spybot. http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/free/

In fact, download and run that first, to see if it doesn't detect your problem.

dinst.exe is registered as a downloader. This process usually comes bundled with a virus or spyware and its main role is to do nothing other than download other viruses/spyware to your computer. This process is a security risk and should be removed from your system.

Recommendation for dinst.exe:
DISABLE AND REMOVE IMMEDIATELY. This process is most likely a virus or trojan.

try "spybot search and destroy".
