When writing a love letter, you should use a pen, because in most cases, love letters are kept for long periods of time. Pencils fade over time and you don't want your love to fade over time.

i would use a pen to write the letter but use regular lined paper and then doodle alll around the edges so that there arent any empty spaces and decorate it with hearts and flowers and all htat good stuff. i think id use black pen because its darker and would stand out more against the paper. pencil smudges away with time. and color is good too but if too much color is put in it, it might be harder to read. ooo and spritz a little perfume on it to add a little personal touch.

Yes. When I was in high school. It was a little awkward. The guy had expressed interest in me and I turned him down because my closest friend had a crush on him. So he started dating her. He then proceeded to give the both of us duplicate love letters stating, not only how infatuated he was, but that he would like to have both of us at the same time. On top of that, he added three pages explaining that he was a werewolf and had 'legitimate proof' of such things. Obviously, their relationship ended pretty fast. My closest friend is still just that. We laugh about it now and then. I've heard he's married now. Good on him. But shyte was pretty out there. Even for us. Haha!

My lover is from Japan, so I write in Japanese symbols to her with a Japanese brush on rice paper. I may add some paintings, for I am an artist. Her surname means "Small Pine", a symbol of longevity, so I may paint pines and cranes, that are both longevity symbols and shown on uchikake (wedding robes). A love letter to Miyuki becomes a work of art.

I normally us an ink pen, black or blue. But I have writen a friend with gel pens (I have approxamently 20 different colors) and I wrote each sentence with a different color. Once I wrote on white paper like that and once on black paper. She wrote back and ask if I was trying to blind her.

A pencil, that way if I change my mind half way through, I can erase. Just kidding, I just like pencils better, the mechanical kind is best.
