No, they should not. It is not the responsability of the FCC or individual radio stations to decide which aspects of an artists content are inappropriate for anyone. Adults have the right to change the station, and children have parents who are supposed to supervise their day to day activity and help keep them from being exposed to things they find offensive.
If you don;t like it, don;t listen to it.

I would say yes. If that is what the station wants to do. It's their station, they run it.
It's up to the individual radio station. Program managers and station owners make that decision.

Good question. But I'm on the fence. I do not like the FCC standards, but I also think artists should use a little more integrity when deciding which songs to release.

No, because it would give a bad influence to young people. Instead, they should try to replace those inappropriate words, with less offensive words, i.e. darn instead of d***, stuff instead of s***, etc...
I only know one radio station that actually does this: Radio Disney.
