I do agree with that. It does seem to me that the only people who have a problem with what the Bible says, are the people who either look to find error, or just simply look to attack the book, and God. If a person reads the Bible, without being on a mission to find contradictions, he/she will find the Bible to be understandable, consistent, and in harmony. Admittedly, yes, there are some passages that are difficult to explain. Yes, there are some passages of Scripture that seem to contradict other passages of Scripture. Why is this? The Bible was written by approximately 40 different authors over a period of around 1500 years. The Bible covers many different topics. The literature in the Bible is in different forms, i.e. poetry, history, teaching, prophecy. Each writer of a book of the Bible wrote their book(s) to a different audience, from a different perspective, and for a different purpose. As a result of all of these facts, we should expect some differences!
However, a difference is not the same thing as a contradiction. It is only a contradiction if there is conclusively no possible answer for how the verses or passages can be in agreement. Even if the answer has not yet been discovered, that does not mean an answer does not exist. Many skeptics and critics of the Bible have promoted a supposed contradiction in the Bible in relation to history or geography only to later be proven wrong once further archaeological evidence is discovered.

Bibles have their own good and it is written and compiled based on what they hear and what they believe(d). Well, that long time ago, we couldn't blame anyone for believing a so-called explanation to everything because they didn't understand sometihng. So Bible does teach its own good values, what matters to (some of) us is its credibility and its genuinity.
Well, so what if they bluff all the way to us saying that God does exist and they punish us for our sins and nyada nyada...hell or heaven or whatever...
As long as the bible can keep some stupid people from being unpleasant to each other. Because some unsensible people can't live without a belief or a religion (something to scare them with). Live with it. Although you people out there are atheist or agnosticist, just live with it, does it make any stupid difference if you just put their belief down?

Contradictions are contradictions, and no one can hide it! I find them without looking, so people who lecture about looking for them are wrong in many ways. When my kid sister divorced, Dad said it'd be a sin for her to remarry. I looked in a Bible concordance and saw verses quoted showing Jesus said it's a sin, but Moses said it isn't. I wasn't looking, but I found a contradiction. There is nothing wrong with seeking the truth! If the Bible has contradictions, we should all want to know it. It has many of them. My college class in Bible History listed some, and a book Billy Graham gave me listed more but glibly tried to explain them. That isn't satisfactory! You are the one who is blinding himself to the truth by refusing to see things that are obvious to one who is objective. I have had three letters to an editor printed in a local newspaper. They are about contradictions in the Bible. I can write a book about this subject. Wake up and admit that they exist!

Forget about the contradictions, just look at the laws regulating the slave trade, and selling your daughters off into slavery (prostitution) It is an Amoral document written by Amoral, goat herding, misogynist, half-literates.

You have the right to believe that while I on the other hand believe something completely different from you.
" If you will seek Me and search for Me with all your heart you will find Me,the Lord Jesus, with no contradictions."

1 Corinthians 1:
18 For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written,
“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
and the discernment of the discerning I will thwart.”
20 Where is the one who is wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe. 22 For Jews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom, 23 but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles, 24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
26 For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, [2] not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. 27 But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; 28 God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, 29 so that no human being [3] might boast in the presence of God. 30 He is the source of your life in Christ Jesus, whom God made our wisdom and our righteousness and sanctification and redemption. 31 Therefore, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”
