what about a band that did like, inspirational punk rock, like MxPx and old good charlotte, and called for change, like rise against and minor threat. would it work, or has it all been done? it was me and my friends idea. we all used to have shitty lives, but now we're starting the band and we have high hopes. does it sound like it would fly?

if we manage, then we will be a huge inspiration. i can play guitar a little bit, my friend can sing, and my other friend can play drums. our "bass player" and "rythmn guitar" can't play yet.

as long as you make music that is true to your heart it will be worth listening to, but when you try to make top 10's you get stale.

Young man you just keep the faith I've been playing bass and rhythm for twenty three years now and I still love it Get yourselves Gary Turners Basic bass guitar with the C.D both your bass and drum can learn from the riffs Mr. turner lays down.

I think it would work...its a good idea mixing those two types of music, but I'd have to hear it to give an honest opinion....
