At first blush I would have to say yes. The solitude provides comfort and a lack of expectations. I know me and my desires/likes/dislikes and I never disappoint myself. However, the delicious tension that come with living with another person is electric. It is intoxicating in a way and, as I reflect, a lot more challenging that hiding in my shell. Perhaps my answer is no.

I have lived by myself, in a barracks room with a roommate, in a bay with 60 other women, with a husband, and with a boyfriend. All in all, I really kind of prefer the solitude.
I always worry about disappointing the one I'm living with (if I happen to be in a relationship with them at the time) and that tends to weigh heavy on me. A roommate with no strings attached is okay, mainly because then it doesn't matter what I do, just as long as we can keep the house clean, you know?
For a long time I was in a relationship where we saw each other when we wanted, but we had separate living arrangements. That worked for us.
I am currently living with my boyfriend now. We don't have any domestic problems, other than finding the time to be home together at the same time and getting the house work done regularly.
In the long run, I think I would rather live by myself, and have visitors when I feel like and then get to send them home when I need quiet time.
I don't know if that answers your question, but there you go.

It's a good question for a prisoner or a sailor on submarine "Kursk". God with them.
I am not a bailiff, bumble or produce.
I live in a world where a boss is characterized by frequent incoherence; He is marked loosening of associations, or grossly disorganized behavior and flat or grossly inappropriate affect that does not meet the criteria for the catatonic type; associated features include extreme social withdrawal, grimacing, mannerisms, mirror gazing, inappropriate giggling, and other odd behavior.
I prefer to live. That's all.
Do you like Edvard Munch's painting "The scream"? It's clear schizophrenia and disorganized. It's ours world.

I have lived alone and I have lived with others.
I really did enjoy living alone: the house was exactly as I wanted it to be; it was decorated in my style; the stereo and/or tv were only on when I wanted them to be; and parties occurred only when I wanted them. If I felt lonely, I invited friends over or met them for lunch, a movie, etc. It was heavenly. The biggest downside, in my view, was anxiety about safety--it helps to relieve anxiety about robberies, etc. when others are around.
Prefer living with my fiance to living alone. Prefer living alone to living with roommates.

Yes, because I have bad social skills and living with others means chances for me to make mistakes. I insult and disrespect others a lot, even if I have good intentions, so living by myself seems the best for me and others. One day I would like to learn how to live in harmony with others and not live in isolation.

One may not like to live that way. Although it is also a fact that at the entrance of another hypocrisy begins.

Some days I do, but I would go crazy after awhile for conversation and physical contact. And plus I can't cook, It would be 2minute noodles every night!

I do live by myself, and I definitely prefer it. I am used to living alone and being on my own, it doesn't bother me.

Yes, and NO. It depends on the day. For the most part, No. If I have to someday, I will not be miserable.
