People are very passionate about the music they listen to. You are being advised to enjoy their type of music because that is what will be played when you are in their company...
Do the same...Be passionate about your music and when they are over at your house, play what you like...

For some reason, people think being a jack off is funny and acceptable now a days. Pay no attention to their comments and keep on rockin' to whatever the hell it is you like to listen to. Remember, they're just simple words from simple people.
