I know that most rides arent suitable for pregnant women but there are some i'm sure that are. mainly i am asking if anyone can tell me the risks that are associated w/ rides and pregnant women so i can tell my boyfriend why it applies to all pregnant women not just ones who are in the 3rd trimester. also if anyone has personally went to an amusement park while pregnant, was it enjoyable at all? i dont want to miss out but i dont want to take any risks that will harm my baby.

I wouldn't take any chances if I were you. Some women may be able to ride the rides and some may not be. Since you are in your last trimester, you should just take a long stroll around the park and bring that baby on down (if you are in your ninth month) and enjoy the food :)

well i was about 3 months pregnant and i went to the state fair n went on every ride mainly because i didn't know i was at the time and i was told that early it wasn't a problem

The placenta can become detached. Play it safe and avoid anything that's even a little questionable. Why take any chances you can ride next year.

the risk is fetal death. all the shaking from the ride could cause early labor. if you look pregnant you can forget it you wont get on the rides.

ugghh I wouldn't go on anything but a ferris wheel. Most rides knock you around to much.

Make sure you wear panties. If you don't, the baby may fall out of your womb and get killed, along with some unsuspecting child, eating an ice cream cone, below the ride.
