when i walk away for about three hours i cant get back on the internet til i reboot,i tried the power saving setting but that did not help,it has to be some simple settings? i use netscape 7.2....totally baffeled...

What type of connection do you have? Dial-up? DSL or cable? Wireless? More details might give us some idea where to start...

Go through a couple of safe starts (F8) and defragment your hard drive(s)
Make sure that you have enough space on your HDD for your windows swap file
Also make sure you have enough cooling for your CPU and that the fans aren't clogged with dirt.
Removing and reinstalling Netscape is also something you might consider.
