We'd all be better off starting with a declaration of an autonomous self -- meaning that we are responsible for our own well-being, except a couple of things that require government: national defense, police & courts -- that's all. All of that other crap is just that, crap.

A nation is a grouping of like-minded people who share at least a common geographical location, language, traditions, and so on. A lone individual cannot be a nation (just as a lone individual cannot be a family). So there is no way for you to declare yourself a nation.

As a lone individual, you can, of course, just sail the seas forever, keeping away from the other countries, most of whom have a 200 miles territorial limit. If you don't want to sail around, get a submarine and live at the bottom of the sea. Of course, you will have to renounce your current citizenship (for otherwise you'd remain subject to their rules), cut all financial and other ties to existing nations, and fade into the sunset. Maybe you'll find a shark or two who'd like to keep you company.

You dont. You would need your own land and your own system of law. After that you would need your own military force so that you could protect and enforce the laws on your land from people in america that go there to commit crime and come back to this country. Youd be better off taking a houseboat and going a mile and a half out to sea where its international waters. Even there you wouldnt be your own soveriegn and you would be subject to international law.

if you go out more than 12 miles, into international waters, then you can do what you want. If you don't like being a US citizen, feel free to renounce your citizenship and sail the seas.

You would have to be out in international waters, but you are entitled to do that. No forms required. But no protections required either.

And any interaction with the US is still subject to US laws.
