my friend has windows xp and when i send her a email that has pics with it, she can read what is wrote but can't see any of the pics that goes with it. can anyone help..thanks for your time.

It depends on her email application/client. What is she using? Yahoo? AOL? What?

Bummer. I don't think I can help with a gte.net address. gte.net is a company that got bought out by Verizon. Before that, they did a lot of email accounts for businesses. Is your friend accessing email at work, by any chance? If so, it is quite possible that the company blocks image download from inbound external emails.

And, apart from this, I know nothing about Verizon's email service whatsoever.

Does your friend have an alternate email address you can send her stuff to?
