Yes, simply because any body who is feeling down needs a hug. A simple hug can make a big difference emotionally. and if emotions are improved, it'll show in one's physicality.

yes yes yes
On second thought lets delelve deeper.
- Some women, if not all like to be pursued and have a guy come and take initivie and hold her
-On the other hand, if you hold her and she uses it as an oppoturnity to complain and it can get worse and she can start feeling bad about life... Some people feeling that if they get sympathy that is the only way to get attention
i still say yes. She probably needs to vent, talk it out, be held, know you care, and move on with you and will feel closer to you

Big YES! I'm a wife and I feel more loved and secure whenever my husband holds me whether I'm crying or not.

If she's crying because she's mad at you...NO.
And dont ask why she's crying, that will just get you into a lot of trouble.
Women are complicated, my suggestion is dont go into the room when she's crying, pretend to do chores.

no, sometimes what women need is a little space. the best thing to do would be to go across the room, call her so she makes eye contact with you, and you have to look her straight in the eye and tell her "do you want a bottle?? are you a little baby??? DOES BABY WANT A DIRT BOTTLE!!!!!" just start out like that and take it from there. be creative. but most important is make sure you're across the room when you do this.

Of course, ask her what makes her cry and keep listening
but make sure she is crying for something that worth it, not just to get attention
