ok this movie is a horror movie, it's not the shining i know because i just watched it. I know that in the end of the movie something blows up this really nice house/ motel which is filled with ghost/scary things/ etc. then the very end of the movie you see like a construction fence with a sign that says "Future site of (hotel name)" which is the name of the same hotel that was just there. It's driving me insane trying to figure it out. i know it blows up or is destroyed somehow then its being rebuilt and you see ghost and stuff flying around as the end of the movie closes, then you see the sign.

It sounds like the end of the Stephen King version of The Shining, which was on cable a few years ago.

Rose Red? It's a Stephen King story too. It was like a miniseries. It aired for 2 or 3 nights in a row.

It is either the Remake (not Jack Nicholson but that guy from Wings) of the "Shining" or another Steven King flick "Rose Red"

It's not Motel Hell, is it? I don't think that's right as I don't remember anything with ghosts, just people hacking up hitchhikers and turning them into beef jerky.

okay, i don't know the name of the film, but if you know an actor/director etc. then go to IMDB Internet Movie Database, it is the best reference for movies anywhere.
