too many people think of divorce as an option. my husband and I spoke before we were married about our terms for divorce. yes I said terms for divorce. Cheating, lying, abuse physical or mental. we've been married 11 years and of course we argued but you just have to work it out. people now adays are too lazy to work things out they go for the quick fix. We were both from broken homes so we are even more determined to work on things together. we know we have to set an example for our 4 children.

They say "till death do us part" with the intent that both spouses know what the real value of marriage is all about. Apparently in this day and age a lot of people don't know what the word commitment is. They think marriage and commitment happens only during their wedding ceremony. They don't realize that the "real" commitment happens after the marriage vows, when real life with each other sets in. Marriage is work and one or both couples fail to see this and instead either get lazy to put in the work required to make their marriages last or look for solutions to their issues outside of their marriages. It's a sad situation and if you have poor role models to begin with (parents or society in general) I don't see how some people who chose the easy way out will ever realize what being married truly means, Bible or otherwise.

Too many people take marriage as a joke. Getting a divorce is a quick fix and doesn't cost a lot of money most of the time. It is harder to get married than a divorce now a days. With every good there is a bad. So, as we change and evlove so does everything else.

marriage is a union of 2 people who plan on spending their lifes with eachother sure there are things that may interupt this plan but if you can imagine your life without the peson you are going to marry dont do it. when i took my vows 13 years ago i ment till death do us part i cant imagine life without him and never could.. people take marrage 2 lightly now days and they dont respect the vows these vows wre written hundreds of years ago when you married for life if people would take it as serious as they did then the divorce rates would drop like crazy and these kids out here with only one parent stugeling wouldnt be happening.

so the free well means getting married should be wz both sides agree and staying married should also be wz both sides agree. u may intend to be married of that person till death but u have the right to change u mind (for serius reasons) any time

well if people where raised 2 believe in marriage n what it means then maybe marriage would mean more.

what do u expect in a disposable world, but disposable marriages.

people do not know how 2 work 2gether n work things out anymore. sitting n talking 2 them is not gonna do any good.

Marriage is a sacred vow, but when you stay together for the kids, for convenience or just because of a vow you took, it loses its original purpose. Do you stay together? Talk with God and he will guide you along with your heart and soul!!!!
