I think people say life is too short because for many people there are so many things that they would like to do and they can't do them all in one lifetime. You have to choose what is most important and let some things go in order to do what you most want to do. I think it's a statement of regret for things left undone.

70 years on earth is not a long time, it is just a drop in the ocean compared to how long the earth has been here. As the time goes by you will find yourself saying " i wish i would have done this or that" As you age, the years fly by. At age 50 i only have probably 20 years left, that is not a long time, so yes life is very short.

The answer to that question you'll understand when you get older. In looking back on my life, I wonder where all the years went to so fast? When you're young, your whole life lies before you, and time seems long, but the older you get, the less lies ahead, and time becomes increasingly more precious, which makes it seem to slip away all the faster. Plus the older you get, the more that is behind you, and looking back, time seems to be so much less than it was.

Because you can be going through life with blinders on not even knowing that what you are doing is not what you SHOULD be doing! And because there are so many decisions that you can make that will affect the rest of your life that you have to take advantage of the here and now!

u.s. "lost" the conflict because of the fact it -- (a) did no longer end the reunification of Vietnam that could desire to have occurred decrease back in 1956, yet now occurred in 1976. (b) did no longer end Vietnam turning out to be a "Socialist" united states of america. incredibly, if the U. S. had no longer violated international regulation and the "1954 Geneva Agreements on Indochina: decrease back in 1954, then Vietnam could have been a "independent" united states of america and could have even remained a capitalist united states of america. the U. S. government, by its movements, pushed the Viet Minh political management to take a "Socialist" attitude from 1946 as much as and after 1975 that's what that's on the instant. FYI -- the term "Viet Cong" is faulty. The term is shortened slang for Viet Nam Cong San, which ability Vietnamese Communist, something that under 4% of the "national Liberation front of Southern Vietnam" (NLF) have been individuals of. further, the tern "North Vietnamese military" is faulty because of the fact the scuffling with stress became the folk's military of Vietnam" (PAVN) which became created in 1944 with the help of the yank OSS (forerunner of the CIA) to combat the eastern and Vichy French for the duration of WW-2. the comparable stress fought against the French for the period of the 1st Indochina conflict (conflict of Independence 1946-1954). the two words have been used to denigrate the "enemy forces" contained in the eyes of the yank human beings to justify what the U. S. became doing as "communists" have been the bogeyman of that era.

They say it's short because they're trying to cram in everything instead of laying back and relizing how long you have to relaz. I think these people are stupid and should think of a better saying.

because you never know when it's going to end. one of my best friends is only 19, but she passed away 2 weeks ago from a car accident (she was paying her respects at a make shift memorial where one of her friends died earlier that day and another car hit her) no one thought she was going to die at such a young age.

there's almost always something you can do in life. sometimes, some goals aren't accomplished yet. so basically, the people who say that still have more things to do. =]
