I sure wouldn't keep it! We had a bad mice problem because we are in the country and they were getting into our horse, chicken, and dog food. Before we knew it, they had decided to make a home out of our home to stay warm and be fed! They will eat anything, there were even holes in some blankets where they made nest. To trap them we did put peanut butter in some enclosed humane traps.
Do you know that those darn little things got into my "easter bunny candy" the night before Easter one year, and ate some of the candy!
If it is wild it probably is carrying disease and you really should not keep......it isn't healthy for you or any other person or pets you have in your home.

If you've caught a wild mouse and are trying to feed it, it is probably freaking out that you caught it and is on a hunger strike. Don't forget that there is a good chance that your wild mouse has fleas and beside jumping offa him and chewin' on your ankles, fleas carry diseases like Rocky Mountain Fever. It's not worth it. Get rid of the mouse.

I don't know why you are asking . I only hope you are trying to get rid of them. We just discovered they chewed holes in the canvas of our pop up camper. So they eat anything ,but love peanut butter, cheese, bread, and sunflower seeds.

Any kind would probably do it, but why would you want to feed wild mice? They've survived on their own for an extremely long time. You DON'T want to draw them to your house. If they're IN your house and you're trying to get rid of them...put cotton balls with menthol and mint oil on them, under cabinets and where ever you think they're getting in. Stuff any holes with SOS pads and you'll get rid of them.

anything basically, fruit, nuts cereal. i assume its not eating because you've captured it and its terrified. if you want it to eat then take out away from your house and set it free.
