There is no one like us anywhere, even here. By the time you have defined us we have changed. The difficulty of taking a static picture of a dynamic situation is it will never be right, it will always be history. Perhaps the question should be, Do you think there are people like we were in the universe?

I suppose you mean elsewhere in the universe. Given the infinite number of star systems (that is uncountable) out there it is more than likely that there are intelligent beings somewhere else. But would they look like us? I have no idea. Would they think like us? Probably not. If you consider all the different cultures here on Earth, then there are possibly as many cultures out there as there are habitats. Some would say this thinking is blasphemous. Others would say the idea that the universe belongs to us alone is just plain arrogant. I have no answers. But it's the asking which is fun.

Sure, and they could be wondering if there are people like themselves in the universe as well.

That's why we have to be the first to build super fast spaceships, scale the universe and ensure that no one else but the great human race lives in this universe! And lets hope they aren't thinking the same thing.

Not a matter of if, but when would we meet them.

As soon as we begin to get our acts together and be more social conscious about growing up as a planet. If not, even our machines would out grown us.

It's a phenomenal waste of space if we're it. But I don't expect to ever know for sure - cosmic distances are way too large for us or any other species to travel across in many, many lifetimes.

No, the chances of them being even remotely like us as far as our physiology are almost non-existent unless humans are not originally from Earth. Intelligent beings almost definitely.
