One hour is too short. About an hour and a half or three-quarters is good. After that I start to get fidgety.

I can only sit in a movie theater for no more than 2 and a half hours.
I have ADD and I can only sit for so long. It really depends on the movie and it if grabs my attention. I want to watch Dances With Wolves but I hear it's about 4 hours long . Thank god it's on video so can take breaks. lol.

I prefer long movies that dont seem long..and when we come out of the theater we are surprised at the time. That is a great movie!
One hour movies are like little kids movies..they have no real plot or anything deep or real.

Ican't stand long boring movies, that have 500 character
to keep track of (The Tower movies and Harry, whatever
it was) Simple 90min.-2hr.movie is plenty for me.

long movies are ok if they are on DVD but in a theater anything over an hour or hour and a half is to long. you have to go out to get popcorn, another drink or to the restroom

Long movies are ok if they keep my attention. I only pay to see a movie if it is something I really want to see, otherwise I wait til it comes out to rent it.

It depends on the story; some stories are able to be told well in a shorter period of time than others. Some stories are ruined because they are condensed down and important information is cut out or glossed over.

As long as it's not boring it's good. I've seen short movies and have fallen asleep, as in DOOM and AEON FLUX, yet there are good movies such as KING KONG and THE LORD OF THE RINGS movies.
