I did but I bled profusely for an hour after wards. Don't drink too heavily if you do.

One can also drink gasoline and inject alcohol before having a tattoo. The result will be the same when you are older---paying high costs to remove the tattoo with partial, and unsatisfactory
results.

I have 6 tattoos and never drank before getting one. Suck it up! No, seriously, someone said this, but alcohol does make the blood thinner and causes you to bleed more than you have to. Not a good thing.

i have several tattoos and was never told to not drink the night before - i did and there weren't any problems, but if your tattoo artist is the one that told you not to, then i'd listen to them since they're the one that actually has to do the work. and you never want to cross your tattoo artist - EVER!!

Maybe you misunderstand. Most tattoo shops will not give you a tattoo if they think you are drunk. I have never heard anything about the night before.

yes, of course you can...why couldn't you?? maybe your artist doesn't wanna sit next to a smelly hung over drunk for an extended period of time. that's the only reason I could imagine. don't give me the same old tired crap about alcohol thinning the blood.

Don't because your blood will be thinner and it will bleed more, so the tattoo artist will have more trouble to work

your best not to. alcohol thins your blood, which means that you are more likely to bleed LOTS, and not stop as quickly as a person with no alcohol in their blood!
