sounds like an insult doesnt it.. well it is , but I have read some research that says a lot of us did not recieve enough oxygen at birth....or I wonder how many of us went into shock at the moment of birth, one which the Matrices of our brains never fully recovered from....?

It has not been that long ago that newborn "premies", babies born too soon, were put into a hyperoxygen atmosphere. It was not long afterward however, that these same babies soon after developed a condition known as erythroblastosis fetalis. One of the symptoms is that the eyeball fills completely with vessels to the extent that it is like the rubber bands in a golf ball. This results in complete blindness. So, I think that given all of the circumstances surrounding today's births, mammals get enough oxygen.

that's a standing joke in our family.
My hubby's IQ is 150 and mine is 140, so we are no slouches, but he was born very premature and I was born blue and not breathing.
We've wondered how we would have done had we been born with sufficient oxygen.
