In 1975 a promoter offered the Beatles $30 million to reunite for one concert. John Lennon was the one that kept it from happening. he felt that it would not be possible to capture the magic of before, and it would only tarnish their legacy.

i believe they would.John Lennon said in an interview in the same year he was murdered that he would like them to and he would be interested in it. Although i dont think it would have been a good idea, they were well past there best and to reform and release mediocre songs and albums would only tarnish the memory and the legend that is the beatles.

No, I don't think so. They had all become different people with very different ideas about music. And they didn't need to do it. Paul might have enjoyed all the attention but I don't think John would have wanted to do it.

Very unlikely.

I think they knew there was a mystique about the era that would have been tarnished with a reunion.

Can't recapture the magic, y'know.

i really wish they could of had the chance to.. it's really hard to tell if they would have though.. they were sort of going in different directions in life. perhaps they would have later down the road. it sucks, we will never know.

all i know is that the beatles are timeless and one of my favorite musical inspirations.
