Johnny Cash could sing a Deep C, as in I Walk the Line. How can he be a Baritone? I also read that Ernie Ford could sing lower than Cash, that would make Ford like J.D. Sumner or something. Help!

How can someone be considered a Baritone and be able to hit a G above the Bass staff and yet someone else be considered a baritone when they can't hit anywhere near that and yet hit a Deep C. That would mean that true basses must have no high range?

What's your point?
Cash has a great voice. He's a natural Baritone.
Listen to him talk. Listen to the majority of his work. "I walk the line" is not his only hit. Listen to his stuff and you'll hear that his voice covers a great bass, but he gets all of the baritone range.
T.E. Ford was a natural Bass. His voice covered the entire Bass range and he could get up into the Baritone but not as smooth as Mr. Cash.

Guitar Hero 5 is way better than smash hits or rock band 1 or 2 (my opinion)

Yes, it is true. Johnny Cash had the ability to sing many octaves because he knew how to use his voice, and sang all the time.

Baritones don't have just one range.
