If there is no fungus, rot, or termite damage, yes. And it is a myth that Redwood is termite resistant. And use pressure-treated wood for the new joists.

Yes if they are in good shape.I thought redwood wasn't suppose to rot??

sounds expensive and its gonna get dry rot again i would suggest that you get the new faux wood board they look like wood and cut like wood but wont rot stain or warp no splinters wont have to restain
