If your hamster is still in the house you might be able to get it to come out of hiding. Take several shoe boxes( or something of similar size) and cut a hole just big enough for your hamster to enter through. Place some of it's bedding material and food in the boxes and place them in quiet places near furniture and appliances that it may be hiding inside or under. Place them along walls with the hole facing towards the furniture or appliance. Hamsters are rodents and will be inclined to move along a wall and avoid open spaces. Check the boxes every hour or so, especially in the evening since they are nocturnal by nature. If they haven't made it out of the house the food, soft bedding and snug compartmnet can induce them to stay in the box. Before opening the lid, place your hand or cardbord over hole in side of box to prevent it from being starled and making a dash for the hole. I hope this re-unites you with your cuddely friend.
P.S. If there is even a slight chance that other rodents(mice, rats...) may be in your home, be mentally prepared to see one when opening the boxes. Don't panic :< 0

look behind the fridge, they are often there - dont move it though because u could squish him. also check the stove. have some broccoli or other fresh food with u to lure him in case he's there. put a bucket out with books or something leading up to it so he can crawl to the edge. make a trail of food on the books, just a tiny bit, leading up the books and then put broccoli (no water) in the bottom of the bucket he'll fall in and be trapped and waiting for u. a small trash can or anything not too tall with smooth sides works. since u r home u make sure his cage is on the floor open and he may sneak in for food and u can catch him. if u see him but cant grab him u might put a trash can or something like that in front of him so he'll run in it or his ball if u have one. he'll come out at night hungry if u dont find him today. turn off everything & look & listen for him. careful of doors and make sure there's no way outside--like where the washer or sink is. how did he get out? u will want to address that once u find him.
close all doors in your house then place a small bit of food in each room and check regular to see if any has gone missing. If you notice any gone you'll know the hamster is in that room.

Put piles of your hamsters usual food mix in the corner of each room. Observe which pile of food gets eaten to determine which room your hamster comes into. Take a bucket and put some bedding and some strong smelling food (such as cheese) inside. Then, using books, build steps up to the top of the bucket. The hamster should clamber up to the top, smell the delicious food and fall in, but not be able to get out. Ive used this for my little escape artist more than once and its worked. Good luck.

It might cost you a few bucks, but there are live traps that do not hurt the animal. I buy them at the farm supply store, but they may sell them elsewhere. you will need several of them. bait them with peanut butter as your hamster will be attracted by the scent. Make sure there is no other food out on the floor or counters so your hamster will have no choice but to seek out the baited traps. put other pets in another room so she will not be frightened. it is probably best to do this at night or while you are gone so she will not be scared. Be sure to check traps very frequently as i am sure being in a small space like that will upset her. good luck.

my old hamster went missing for about a month....she had escaped under the floorboards and was having a great time evading everyone and exploring. as long as you leave some food out for her near any holes in your floor, im sure you'll find her when shes bored of exploring!

Get a live animal trap made especially for small rodents. You can usually find them at the hardware store.

I think my cat found it for you. Seriously though. Maybe you could set out a mouse trap. That would do the trick

Put up posters in your road and maybe the hamster will read them and come home.
