they automatically tear shreds off the opposite sex, or they automatically write off what the question is about. I always try and understand what people are asking for, but I see a lot of answers that dont have anything to do with the question. Do you think that maybe people need to spend a little bit of time looking at themselves, and being a bit more honest about themselves before they answer. Or is that an ugly thought. I have had a lot of things go wrong in my life, but I always try to be open with people as well, I dont judge them by whats been done to me. What are your thoughts.

An opitimist is someone who looks at things and can see the good side of what is happening, and is willing to take a chance.
A pessimists is someone who automatically looks at the bads side of things. Is unwilling to take that chance, because they cant see the benifits

I'm glad there is someone else with the same ideas. I see myself as an optimist, but that is for other people to decide. I agree with you, if more people looked at themselves rather than other people, then they may be able to give better and more effective answers. They would also be more pleasant to talk to.
Have a nice day :-)

I think a lot of people do tend to let their responses be colored not by objectiveness, but by THEIR pasts...
You do sound like an optimist, which is good- try to take anything negative that has happened to you & turn it into a learning experience. I believe that the bad things that have happened to me can be used as a tool for me to keep other people from making the same mistakes, or getting hurt the same way.

Hey great question! I asked a question the other night and most of the replies were about 50/50. I think that some of the people answering the questions are young and maybe have not experienced these thing in thier life yet so it is an easy answer to them. Good point.

Yes, you're right. I have had questions where I gave a best answer to a person because they were the only one who both read it and answered both parts according to what I had asked and not based on their own agenda.
But I am an optimist and always try to see the best in everyone except for Jack the Ripper and that sort.

I am a realist. I believe that sometimes bad things can happen for a purpose--whatever that purpose might be. If I fall and break a leg--not bad luck--there was a purpose for it. I may never know what that purpose is but I don't need to know everything. Live life to the fullest. Don't sit around and complain about it all of the time. My opinion.

I am an omnimist.
Savvi's Dictionary- OMNIMIST: A pessimist and an optimist put together.
It all depends what mood I'm in or if I like the person.

Many people answer just to get points..
I think answers should be thought out, since they might have a lot of meaning for the person asking the question, he or she might make an important decision based on them..

Some of us are still Young and have not experienced what some people are going through. in order to know what some one else is going through we need to experience what they are going through. we try to help the best we can even tho we have not went through the same situation as some one else has. even tho we are still young. we try to put are selves in some one Else's shoes to see how they fell even tho we have not experienced that type of situation are selves. even tho we are still young we have experienced the same situations are selves that why we answer the questions about relationships.
