What an excellent question! I have had several defining moments and my life is measured by when in those moments a certain thing happened.
I was born and we moved when I was 5 so there are the moments before and after the move. Then we moved again to a different country and continent, so this has it's measurements for me. I got married at 18, had a child at 21, divorced at 28 - each carries it's own weight as a defining moment. There are more, but I won't bore you.
I cannot say which was more important or had more impact but with each one, whether stressful or not, I grew as a person and am glad for the experience called living.
Thanks for asking.

I in simple terms prefer to appreciate if the atheist can fairly furnish the main appropriate answer as they are so particular that God did not create existence? - i will tutor that the biblical version is a delusion. All of genesis became plagiarized from the Sumerian pills having not something to do with deities so "god coming up existence" is a delusion. - As to proving the place existence got here from, we settle for a organic technique through fact that has evidence. A deity magically forming existence is a delusion through fact you have yet to tutor a deity exists and that what youi use as a evidence is a nicely shown delusion. - There you have actually evidence and evidence and no hypothesis.

I joined the navy in 1972. Best thing I ever did. I spent 20 years there and took what I learned and started my own business. A slow move from rags to riches but I finally got to a point in my life where I am totally satisfied with what I've accomplished.

Not just one. There have been several. They seem to occur every seven years. If you think of life as a puzzle, then there are problems you negotiate in order to get to the next level. You probably won't fully define your life until you are on your death bed. But I think that's a good thing.

Yes I do. My personal "Rights of Passage" and my “Vision Quest”. Unless one has overcome their fears and sought out their sacred space and fasted and danced around the fire in a sacred manner. Unless an individual has un-conditioned themselves and freed the yoke of judgment and expectation of others they share the same environments with. Unless an individual has truly researched and learned that immediate self-gratifications, greed, apathy, and narrow-mindedness are paramount to be reconciled with. Unless an individual has learned the ability of acceptance, of “acceptance”, and the true manifestation of unconditional love there really are no benefits worth savoring in this Man’s world for they are all folly.

It started around May of this year, after being on ANSWERS.YAHOO, i changed from a Catholic, then Agnostic and now full-fledged Atheist in the space of 5 months (Jan-May). The questions and answers brought about this 'defining moment' in my life.

I decided to go to work in Japan. I met my future wife, changed the direction of my career, and made enough money to give me a real start in life.
