think its okay? thats how it was meant to be. we were meant to be with one person our entire life. thats the sanctity of marriage. i think that its great. i wouldnt change my circumstances, ive only been with my hubby (sexually) and i know that there is no other man for me. i believe that there is only one person out there for each of us, and i know that ive found my only one. and im very thankful for it. i love him dearly and i cant wait to spend the rest of my life with him and only him.

It depends on the people involved. Yeah, it's ok if you continue to enjoy each other and feel love for each other and never have a yearning for something more.
On the other hand, as people themselves change as individuals, how can they sustain a relationship if what the relationship was based on is no longer what they want? Or what if the other person wants different things out of life at one point? Could that be the crux of why people think it's unnatural? I think it just depends on the people.

I don't know if its healthy or not. I just know that's what I want but I do think its better for some people not to and nobody should be faulted for being of that persuasion. I will say however, too many people of that persuasion get into long term relationships(or so the other thought) and end up hurting people pretty badly.
As for some of the other answers all I can say is god I wish my wife felt that way about me.

Definitely yes. Life's too short and if you happen to find that right person to marry and be with for the rest of your life. Then go for it.

Of course "it's okay to be with the same person all your life."
As long as you love each other, are committed to the relationship, and there is trust and mutual respect and open communication and a willingness to give and take (compromise).

That's the way it should be but times are way different today than when our parents married. You need to be happy with yourself and not depend on anyone person to help you achieve that, because I've learned they never will. You have to find who you are, then you'll know.

grand parents and people i know who have only had one partner seem to fly right by the age expectency of 75 because majority are 90's i personally think it reduces stress and it also gives you a bond that helps you with comfort

Absolutely! As long as you are with the right person. If you are, you will never regret it. Just make your choice carefully. Then, work at the relationship to keep it in great condition!

I think it's perfectly fine to spend the rest of your life with one person. If it wasn't, very few would get married.
