Mine was Little Miss Sunshine.....only notable film this year.

Let me tell you all of the misses so far this year:
X-Men 3 because the plot and acting was AWFUL!!
POTC 2 because the movie was not detaied and was so simple-minded.
The Da Vinci Code because it had no emotion it did't portray the book very well at all.
ALL OF TEH TEEN FILMS!!!

Yes it hasn't been a good year for movies....
I don't know why but Little Miss Sunshine wasn't being played in theaters where I live. I'm a little upset about that but I'll rent it when it comes out on DVD.
Good movie was V for Vendetta. Was that even this year? I don't even remember. It's not a movie for idiots, I'll say that. You've got to pay close attention to details and I love those kinds of movies. It's also got a really good message (which I'm too lazy to go into).

There aren't many memorable movies out yet but I've heard better ones are coming out. I liked Snakes on a Plane, Superman, but my favorites so far are Clerks 2 and World Trade Center and Invincible. Am looking forward to Hollywoodland, 007, The Black Dahlia, Flags of our Fathers.

Clerks II, only because I remembered when I saw the first one. Also because I am now the same age as the guys in the film and understood where the movie was coming from.

i liked water by deepa mehta. Good historical scenes, feminist undertones, social issues overtones, showed another culture. Beautiful and relaxing scenery. Sad but well done. Very interesting and thought provoking.

Very good question. To tell you the truth all of the movies that I actually purchased tickets to go see were overrated...If I had to choose one I would say "You, Me, and Dupris" (pretty funny)

ever since lord of the rings triology came to an end, there are no more good shows. i loved lord of the rings triology coz it's fufills my medieveal fantasy!! the designs and costumes and plot is good!

Thats next on my list. It looks so good! I loved Talladega nights. It was that stupid kind of funny. one liner after one liner... very quotable.
