I used to live in a house that we sold to a Mexican family. We didn't get nearly as much for it as we could have but we needed the money at the time. Last week this Mexican family was having a barbeque--my family wasn't invited but we hopped the fence and joined in anyway. We ate their food, enjoyed their sodas, and relaxed in their house. And they had the gaul to ask us to leave. They said that we had no right to be there. I explained that my family was hungry and they had it better than my family does so why couldn't we stay there? He said because I wasn't invited and it was HIS home and HIS food. I think he was being racist for demanding that we leave and I think we should have been able to stay for as long as we wanted. I even called some family members and they hopped his back fence and joined in on the fun and he asked them to leave also. I told him that I used to live there, but he said, "Who cares?" Who is right here? Man those Mexicans can be so racist and unfair.

Ummmm, legally you were wrong. (If this is a serious question to start with) I know this is not what you want to hear, but I gotta unload on ya for a sec. Who was right? HE WAS! You sold it, so it doesn't matter that you USED to live there. It is HIS home now and his food. It doesn't matter if you were hungry or not. You should have money to buy food since you sold the house. If not, there are plenty of places that you can eat for free, but his house is not one of them. You hopped a fence to get in, that does mean you showed up uninvited. He asked you to leave, that makes you guilty of trespassing if you didn't leave. If you invited some more of your family there without his permission, you're just a freaking idiot. I'm white and I don't care what color you are, if you had done the same thing at my house, I'd have done more than ask you to leave.....there would have been a shotgun pointed at you! No need to involve the police...LOL I don't think thats being racist at all, you were just flat out wrong!

At least you added the part about "your" being the original owner of the house. This analogy seldom acknowledges that part.

I just find a house a fallacious analogy for an entire nation. And I wouldn't call the ideas you're advancing racism so much as selfishness. All of the resources in this country do not belong to you and you alone or any one group of people. Nobody is taking your food from you. Nobody is taking your bed from you. The shelter that is used is not anything that people in your position (one of at least moderate affluence if you have the time, resources, and opportunity to post this drivel online) cannot still access with the same--if not greater--ease as before.

Interesting parable that sheds a lot truth about how Americans are treated by the Mexican government. Try buying property in Mexico you can't because you are not a citizen. Sorry that so few got the irony of it.

Stop being a childish immature f-tard.I'm only 15 and you are probaly like what 30/40. Get a life you failed. Yea I get what your saying its about the immagration thing but it's not only Mexicans you know. Aren't the immagrants taking the jobs you don't want. People can say that immagrants take all the jobs. But they work for cheap and not all the jobs are gone. Everywhere I see is Help wanted. The american food source is fine. We all live on the same Earth. Maybe all the old people who came here illegaly from Europe should go back too.

No the man was not racist and you were being rude to jump the fence and invite yourself. Next time stay on your own side of the fence and if the house was sold and you have moved then your no longer have the right to go onto that property uninvited. I do not care what color you are.

lol. I love your story. I used the same type of example when explaining the Native Americans and what happened with them. I get what your saying. I guess others need to see the point your making and not take it so literal.
O.K. I see two others have caught on as well. Glad to see some people are understanding.
this ones going on my watched list
I agree with Doug

I think you were in the wrong by 'crashing the party' and then by asking your family to do the same. Whether or not you used to live there.. is a USED TO.. You don't anymore. Now it is his home and he had every right not to inviite you for whatever reason.
