Why do Black Men say that Black Women are gold diggers.?

As an African American Man who has socialized in different cultural and professional environments, it is very annoying when I hear African American Men say that Black Women are gold diggers. Usually, the Black guys who make these ignorant statements probably and most often socialize with poor Black Women who are trying to assimilate the behavior of privileged American White Women, because more fortunate Black Women are not so greedy. The false concept of independence that most Black Women have won’t allow them to be gold diggers, and they will more often take care of a lazy Black Man rather than the other way around. But as a successful African American Man who has dated professional White, Americanized Asian and Latin women, I do know that these classes of women do not come cheap. I’m not speaking about White trash, I’m only speaking about professional White American and Americanized Women of other cultures; European women are not as materialistic. Most American White women are taught from an early age to date men from a perspective of dollars and cents. This doesn’t mean that they don’t have emotions, it just means that they expect you to have a very strong financial background and be able to maintain it, if not better, or don’t even look in their direction. So when I hear Black Men say that Black Women are gold diggers, I realize that they have only dealt with poor, ghetto Black Women and have never dated or socialized with Professional American White women. That could be why when many White guys lose their job, they go crazy because they have high standards to live up to for their wife and family, and the wife usually don’t want to hear excuses.

That so very true i guess all girls have high standards when it comes to guys but neglect to see how independent a woman is before they decide to date them and some females do the same

I always looked at it as an excuse to diss us and find a white girl. Also, the part where you said European women are not gold diggers, I am watching a show with this Polish woman is marrying a rich American man for his money. Bridezillas, she's a model and now she is a spoiled European princess marrying her meal ticket.

Im an African-American male also and upscale and I've always associated with women in my social class. But I have always been amused by some of the examples of the diversity in our family. For example I was cracking up when the sister made the record called "There's Nothing Going on But The Rent". I could imagine a dude saying to her "Whats Going On"? (pre-cursor of What's Up?) and she's saying "aint nothing going on except the rent.You've got to have a J-O-B if you wnat to get with me. No romance without finance" The sister was kind of cold but she let him know just where things were at!. We like any people have much diversity. We have freeloaders like any other group. And thank God responsible people like any other group. Our annual income as a group is staggering when compared to many other nations.So we must be doing something right.
The rule of thumb is that you cannot stereo-type any group. I have at times have made negative statements about my black women having to do with attitudes based on some of my bad experiences at the time. But not all black women are guilty of this. I suppose the ones that are laidback like me are not as visible and vocal. (For that reason I've always wished that I could knock on doors to find them)(smile)

Hmmm... perhaps the real question is: "is it because 90% of the world's poor are women that men consider women needy?"

Poor women often are born into a situation where the deck is stacked against them. Many would take an opportunity to advance themselves if they had the chance and had to skills to recognize it and take advantage of it. It has nothing to do with race: poverty feeds poverty, and it is far easier for women to become stuck in the poverty trap. what men see as "gold-digging" is what women see as "survival". Instead of criticizing, understand that love isn't everything, you still have to feed your children at the end of the day. Help advance anothe rperson's self-esteem and self-reliance, instead of condemning people for not having it.

Women who are assertive and making it in the professional world often had very tough fences to climb and ceiling s to break. Not everyone has the guts to do it with nothing supporting them. not to say it isn't hard for men, too, but it is still much harder for a poor woman to break out of poverty than it is for a middle-class white male to earn his MBA.

i think of which would be mentioned for women folk human beings of any race. it would desire to have been your journey with Asian women human beings even though it fairly is not constantly the case. Many Asian women human beings those days want their own money in simple terms like numerous different female along with her head on quickly. I might desire to confess that there are some Asian people who love money alot and prefer to make money. even though it won't be able to be mentioned approximately all Asians. you may desire to be certain what your brother is doing to entice gold diggers in spite of the race. in the journey that your brother needs a women human beings that has her own money and dosent prefer to spend all his, then he can easily discover one. Dont placed all this blame on the ladies human beings.
