The watch I have is leather. Periodically I have gotten sweat on it. Does anyone know how to get rid of the smell off the watch. I have washed it numerous times. Does anybody know what I can use to get rid of the smell?

Actually you can coat it with Baking Soda after it has been washed with an anti-microbial soap and dried. Alow it to sit for several days and the baking soda will absord the odor. Odors are usually the result of bacteria, remove the bacteria, remove the odor.

If the leather watch band is of a good sturdy quality and sewn together or a single thick layer of leather, you may be able to wash it by using saddle soap and water. after it dries, then apply some softening oils or creams made especially for leather. Your local shoe/leather repair shop ( or leather craft shop) should have a selection of these products.

Some of the very best leather products that I have found are from www.fiebings.com, they are often stocked in better local retailers shops.

We had a watch with the same problem. Nothing worked. We got another watch.

I have heard rubbing alcohol works.

Buy a can of tannery. You can buy this at grocery stores or walmart.

Rub leather on it. Fight fire with fire.
